Is there a minimum order for small melee stones?

There is no minimum carat weight or amount to be spent on the smaller stones. We will however make larger quantity purchases more appealing in terms of pricing.

What are the terms for consignments?

We allow a maximum of 30 days. However the sooner the stones are returned, the better. We appreciate a quick return of our stock because it increases the likelihood of a sale. We understand the difficulty in accommodating certain clients, so please just keep us informed of changes to any situation.

Can I take as many stones as I want?

Within reason of course. If it is for multiple clients then we are more than happy to fulfill any order. We will generally only impose limits if we feel clients are taking advantage of our relaxed rules or if their selection severely limits what is made available to other jewellers.

Do you send stock interstate?

Of course. Once an account application form is completed and a trade reference is approved, we are happy to send stones on consignment or purchase to any state in Australia and also NZ. The account application form is available to download here or you can contact us if you would like an application form sent to you. We will also accept full payment for stones and issue a refund if the client changes their mind.

Do you deal with the public?

No, we are purely wholesalers to the jewellery trade. If you do not work directly for a retail front, we will ask for proof of legitimacy. Students are definitely welcome.

Can we come and view the stones?

Yes, of course. We have a large showroom and pride ourselves in having as much stock as possible out for viewing instead of hidden away behind closed doors. This allows jewellers to find comparable colours in different gemstones or just to find inspiration for design. It also allows us to visually see our stock when answering telephone requests, serving as a better option than reading descriptions off a spreadsheet.

How do I get started?

Simply fill out an Account Application Form with two trade references and once approved, you may take gemstones on consignment for up to a maximum of 30 days. You can download the form here.

What are your hours of trade?

Our trading hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.

Do you have a Gemologist on site?

Yes, we have staff who are certified gemologists to answer any further questions regarding the gemstones. However, ALL our staff are knowledgeable.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept credit card (Mastercard, Visa), cheques and direct deposit.
